🕹️ CSS Welcome Week Video Game Tournament 🕹️

Grab your controllers and get ready for a night of competition with our CSS Video Game Tournament! We will be hosting two separate game tournaments with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Please note that format of tournament is subject to change prior to the start of the tournament.

• Players will get one joycon by default at their game station. Please bring your own if you would like to use them.
• Sign-ups are required and will sign you up for both tournaments.
• 30 pre-registered slots will be available, must be in attendance by 5:15 when gameplay starts or your pre-registration slot will be forfeit.
• Tournament play will start between 5:15 and 5:30
• Controls for Super Smash Bros. must be set prior to tournament start.

Rules:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe:

• 150cc
• Random Track
• Normal Items
• Scoring: Normal Game Scoring
• 4-6 races per player (To be determined on player turnout)
• Random Grand Prix amongst top 4 players

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate:

• 4 player Free For All
• Random Stage
• No items
• 4 minute timer
• FS, Spirits, Stage Hazards all turned off
• Default game settings
• Custom controls must be set before tournament play
• SSBU Scoring:
• 1st place = 7pts
• 2nd place = 5pts
• 3rd place = 3pts
• 4th place = 1pt
• Additional points given based upon positive score achieved on final screen)
• 4-6 games per player (To be determined on player turnout)
• 4 game tournament with top 4 players

Unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a disqualification from the game/tournament.
